Twitter users observed that the judge who presided over the arraignment of former President Donald Trump on Tuesday in Miami signed a bond document with the incorrect date.
The signature of Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman appears to read July 13, 2023, rather than June 13.

Numerous individuals commented on the judge’s error.
Does anyone notice that it looks like the date is incorrect on the document? It looks like the handwritten date says JULY 13, 2023 instead of JUNE 13, 2023.

One Twitter user inquired if it renders the document invalid.
@CNN @NormEisen Judge signed date as July.
Does this invalidate this document? https://t.co/mCWRDQ0D2B

The court can readily correct such clerical errors, according to Newsweek.
Goodman is not anticipated to play a further role in Trump’s alleged mismanagement of classified documents case.
United States District Judge Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida will preside over the case.
In 2020, Trump appointed her to the bench, prompting some on the left to contend that she is biased in Trump’s favor and should be removed from the case.
The New York Times reported on Saturday that Chief Clerk Angela Noble stated that Cannon would remain unless she recused herself.
Noble stated that “normal procedures were followed” in the arbitrary process that placed the case in Cannon’s lap.
Trump pled “not guilty” to all 37 counts in the indictment, which was made public by the Department of Justice late last week.
Trump traveled to his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey, to address the events of the day following his arraignment.
“Today we witnessed the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country. Very sad thing to watch,” Trump said.
“A corrupt sitting president had his top political opponent arrested on fake and fabricated charges of which he and numerous other presidents would be guilty, right in the middle of a presidential election in which he is losing very badly,” Trump added.
“This is called election interference and yet another attempt to rig and steal a presidential election. More importantly, it’s a political persecution like something straight out of a fascist or communist nation,” the 45th president said.
Trump predicted that the date would “be remembered in infamy” as the day Biden and members of his administration “tried to destroy American democracy.”
He also argued that he had the right to retain the documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, citing a 2012 court ruling that the president has broad discretion under the Presidential Records Act to determine which records are personal.
According to the Associated Press, Biden is attempting to say as little as possible about the case as his DOJ goes after Trump, his principal political rival and the candidate dominating the Republican presidential primary field by a significant margin at this time.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has also appointed a special counsel to investigate the numerous classified documents Biden retained in his garage, office, and Biden Penn Center in Washington, D.C.
The DOJ has not yet filed any criminal charges against Biden.
