US Marine Prisoner In Russia Goes Off On Biden After Leaving Him To Rot

Published on

Joe Biden, a Democrat, is rejoicing at the release of a famous basketball player from a Russian prison colony for violating the country’s narcotics laws, but he has said nothing about a US service member being imprisoned in IK-17, the cruel Russian gulag, who is a continuing Russian prisoner.

In addition, Biden exchanged a Russian prisoner for a basketball star who was once the world’s most wanted guy for his horrific crimes against humanity.

As Commander-in-Chief, Biden’s egregious dereliction of duty is exemplified by his complete disregard for a service member, his brazen prisoner exchange, and his decision to leave the American marine to perish in Russian hell.

“Former US Marine Paul Whelan has spoken out from Russian prison, saying he is ‘disappointed’ the Biden administration has not done more to secure his release following a prisoner swap to free WNBA star Brittney Griner,” the Daily Mail reported, adding:

“Whelan was NOT part of Thursday’s controversial prisoner swap, which saw Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman help broker Griner’s release in exchange for a Russian arms dealer known as the ‘Merchant of Death.”

As Whelan languishes in a Russian prison colony on unfounded espionage allegations, many Americans have criticized President Joe Biden of choosing celebrities over veterans. Whelan’s family and the United States government maintain that the espionage claims against him are false.

‘I am greatly disappointed that more has not been done to secure my release, especially as the four-year anniversary of my arrest is coming up,’ Whelan told CNN in a phone call from the remote Russian penal colony where he is serving a 16-year sentence.

‘I was arrested for a crime that never occurred,’ he said. ‘I don’t understand why I’m still sitting here.’

‘My bags are packed. I’m ready to go home. I just need an airplane to come and get me,’ added Whelan. ‘It’s quite obvious that I’m being held hostage.’

A senior administration official declined to comment directly on MBS’s participation, but stated that the United States will “continue to rely on international allies” to seek the release of unjustly incarcerated Americans.

According to Russian official media, the exchange took place at Abu Dhabi airport, when Griner and Bout had to pass each other to approach their respective groups on the airport runway.

The US official said Griner was ‘all smiles’ on the tarmac as she approached the American delegation.

But Republican Rep. Mike Waltz, a former Green Beret, asked: ‘Where is U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, who has been unjustly held by Russia for far longer? Celebrities over veterans?’ CONTINUE READING…
