The Austin American-Statesman received the entire footage, which was captured by a hallway surveillance camera and a bodycam worn by one officer. The source published the four-minute collection of edited extracts on its website. It uploaded the entire footage on YouTube.

The edited footage begins with the shooter smashing the pickup vehicle he was driving, then heading to the school and opening fire in the parking lot and on witnesses across the street.

The following video contains sights and audio that may be distressing to some viewers.

“The video tells in real time the brutal story of how heavily armed officers failed to immediately launch a cohesive and aggressive response to stop the shooter and save more children if possible. And it reinforces the trauma of those parents, friends and bystanders who were outside the school and pleaded with police to do something, and for those survivors who quietly called 911 from inside the classroom to beg for help,” Statesman reporter Tony Plohetski wrote.

“The kids are running,” a woman calls out during the video in a 911 call, adding “Oh my God.”

As a lady forces children into their rooms, terrified screaming can be heard.

The exception continues with Ramos entering the school, glancing over a corner toward rooms 111 and 112, and then ambling along the corridor while carrying his firearm.

The video depicts one boy exiting a restroom. The youngster glances around the bend and observes the gunman farther down the corridor before fleeing at the sound of the first rounds.

Approximately 100 shots were fired in the following two and a half minutes, according to the Daily Mail.

Gunfire continues.

After a brief delay, the first cops arrive.

Three cops cautiously approach the classroom with their firearms drawn. A volley of gunshots erupts, causing the police to flee. One cop appears to have been hit on the head.

The clip video then cuts to 19 minutes later, then 31 minutes later, as more officers with guns and a ballistic shield arrive. Officers continue to wait. Four shots are heard.

“They’re making entry,” an officer says, but nothing happens.

At 12:30 p.m. local time, an officer squirts hand sanitizer from a wall-mounted dispenser and rubs his hands together. Officers appear to be discussing alternate ways to enter the classroom.

At 12:50, officers breach the classroom, killing the gunman.

Republican state Rep. Dustin Burrows said Tuesday that most sections of the hallway video will be shown to Uvalde community members on Sunday.

However, with the leak of the entirety of the footage, more backlash is sure to ensue.
