Watters’ Co-Hosts Mortified When He Alludes To ‘Office Romance’

Published on

Fox News’ Jesse Watters drew the astonishment of his co-hosts when he argued that employees should return to the physical workplace instead of continuing to work remotely from home.

Watters’ co-host laughed hysterically at his sarcastic remark when he asked, “What about office romance? You have no office ro—”

“You don’t want to go there!” Richard Fowler, a contributor to Fox News, cut in, saying, “That’s the third rail! Stop while you’re ahead!”

Prior to the commercial break, Pirro provided a preview of the subsequent segment.

“The Fastest is up next because Jesse doesn’t need to talk,” she told viewers.

According to the New York Daily News, Watters was embroiled in a well-known incident in the newsroom in 2017 involving a romantic relationship with a subordinate associate producer named Emma DiGiovine. This adultery led to the eventual dissolution of his marriage. In 2018, Noelle, Watters’s wife, initiated divorce proceedings, thereby ending their marriage. Notable is the fact that the couple previously welcomed identical twin daughters into their family. According to a Fox representative during that time period:

Within 24 hours of Jesse Watters voluntarily reporting to the Chief of Human Resources in November 2017 that he was in a consensual relationship with a woman on his staff, management met with both parties and a decision was made for the woman to be transferred to work on another program on the network where she currently remains.

Watters and DiGiovine subsequently entered the institution of marriage.

This incident marked a recurring pattern of distress caused by Watters to his co-hosts, as he had previously confessed to engaging in stalking-like behavior throughout his affair:

“When I was trying to get [my wife Emma] to date me, first thing I did, uh, I let the air out of her tires. She couldn’t go anywhere, she needed a lift. I said, ‘Hey, you need a lift?’ She hopped right in the car,” Watters claimed on an April 2022 episode of The Five.

Later reported to have been teasing.

“Basically the Zodiac killer,” co-host Greg Gutfeld called Watters, and Pirro questioned, “Is that the first time you did it or did you use that before?”

“Ah, it works like a charm,” Watters commented.

Watters co-hosts The Five and has assumed Tucker Carlson’s erstwhile 8 p.m. primetime slot. Carlson was terminated in the spring of 2017 after disparaging female Fox executives in texts and emails.

In addition to Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly, two other Fox News personalities, Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly, were fired due to allegations of inappropriate conduct.
